Inverness Hotels
Surprisingly for such a historic location, Inverness only became a city in 2000 and but it has been the gateway to the North of Scotland for countless centuries. It is still quite an industrial city, Inverness is prosperous and it stands on the River Ness which flows from the famous Loch Ness. It is located just below Black Isle and the Moray Firth and is a great base to choose to explore this part of Scotland.
When you stay in this city you will find that there is a wonderful array of Inverness guest houses and hotels which one can stay in. Almost all tourists will visit Loch Ness and hopefully you may even spot the famous monster which is said to inhabit the deep loch waters. Another place of interest to visit for visitors to Inverness is Culloden Battlefield.
